CBT For Perfectionism (3 CEs)

Description
Perfectionism is one of the most common self-defeating beliefs that plagues patients and therapists alike. It plays a key role in depression and most, if not all of the anxiety disorders, and is speculated to be important in eating disorders, substance abuse, and relationship conflicts as well. In this new 3-hour workshop David Burns, M.D. and Jill Levitt, Ph.D. will present cutting edge techniques to help your patients overcome their perfectionism—and to help you with your own as well!

Learning Objectives:
1) Identify two self-defeating beliefs related to perfectionism
2) Describe two cognitive distortions that contribute to perfectionism
3) Explain the rationale for self-disclosure in overcoming perfectionism
4) Describe one technique that helps to reduce resistance to overcoming perfectionism

This is an asynchronous (pre-recorded) webinar. In order to obtain CE credit you must pass (70% or higher) the knowledge test and complete the CE survey.
